Why this site exists

Power Platform Explained in Plain, Practical Language

The Microsoft Power Platform lets business users and developers build apps, automate work, analyze data, publish websites and create AI agents with little or no code. But when you sit down to build something real, the questions get specific fast: why is my gallery only showing 500 records, how do I format this date in a flow, how do I send an email from a button?

Power Platform FAQs answers those questions the way an experienced colleague would. Each tutorial takes one real task, builds it step by step with screenshots, and gives you the exact formula or expression that works, plus the mistakes to avoid.

The site grew out of Bijay Kumar’s client work. After years of building Power Apps, Power Automate flows and Power BI reports for organizations in the United States and Canada, he started this site to put that practical knowledge in one free, easy-to-follow place.

How Every Tutorial Is Made

The same four steps for every guide, so you can trust that what you read works in your own environment.

  • Real business problems

Topics come from client projects and readers' questions: approval flows, leave and request apps, SharePoint lists, reports and AI agents.

  • Built in a real environment

Every example is built step by step in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages or Copilot Studio before the tutorial is written.

  • Screenshots and exact formulas

You get the real screens, the exact Power Fx formulas and expressions, and the result you should see, so you can follow along.

  • Kept up to date

Microsoft updates the Power Platform every month. Tutorials are reviewed and updated when controls, connectors or menus change.
